THE ROLE |
As the facilities manager for our Gurgaon office you will manage integrated facility management (IFM) services for the office in alignment with Google's vision, cultivate a collaborative, friendly and fun work environment that fosters innovation and productivity. In this role you will lead and manage the facilities team in Gurgaon, which includes in-sourced managers and outsourced staff; responsible for hiring, coaching and developing the team.
This is achieved by understanding of Google’s requirements & coordinating efforts of the Facilities Management Company, in delivering best in class services to Google. This position is strategically important for the smooth running of the REWS operations by ensuring standardized & consistent operations. |
RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Manage all aspects of Integrated Facilities Management to include office management, utilities management, transport management, hospitality management, food services management and real estate & administration of lease agreements.
- Understanding of Google policies and expectations of REWS team and provide leadership and direction in all aspects of integrated facilities management department including strategic planning.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Google policies on EHS, SLA’s & applicable statutory obligations.
- Develop & implement ISO: 9001 : 2008 and with ISO : 9001 : 2008 quality management compliant systems.
- Develop and training of the REWS team and encourage sharing and implementation of best practices.

REQUIREMENTS |
- BS or BA in a relevant discipline with top academic performance is preferred.
- At least 4 years experience directly related to the responsibilities specified.
- Capable of presenting, organizing and conveying complex problems or issues within and across functions.
- Experience developing and managing budgets and helping to make key sourcing decisions.
- Understanding of the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work regulations, codes of practice of both the company and the customer.
- Experience in managing partners and outside resources.
- Experience with contract negotiation and management.
